At Metivier & Associates' Center For Training & Development we value your privacy, both online and otherwise. To ensure the privacy of the information you send us we have employed the latest encryption technology on our secure servers using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) so you can order from us with confidence. Below is an overview of our security features.
What is SSL?: Secure Sockets Layer is a technology that encrypts all information between the computer (server) where our site is stored and your computer where you view this site on your browser. So, any information you type in a form on our site is encrytped or scrambled before it is sent to our computer, thus eliminating the possibility of information theft. How do I know I'm on a secure server? Typically, when you are visiting a page on a secure server using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser a small picture of a lock appears in the tool bar at the bottom page. If you are using Netscape Navigator the lock graphic will be highlighted in the bottom left corner. Our website uses a digital document called a web server certificate which contains unique codes that identify the holder of the certificate to the person accessing the site. Our Equifax Secure's eBusinessID Web Server Certificates use the most current and secure 128-bit encryption technology developed. They support 1024-bit key lengths and 128-bit SSL connections for 128-bit SSL compatible web servers and 128-bit SSL web browsers. What do you do with my information? For further security any information you send us is kept offline. Additionally, we never sell or share any information we receive from our visitors.
