Translator Testing Many bilingual people are called upon to translate even thoiugh they are not formally trained in the skills and ethics of professional translation. Panoltia's translator testing program is designed to ensure that translators are competent and capable of delivering high quality accurate translations in their respective disciplines. Testing Overview Testing consists of two parts: document translation and questions and answers. Questions are of various types, including multiple choice, true/false, and various others. Documents and questions are designed to challenge the candidate without attempting to mislead, or “trick” them. The test measures candidates’ knowledge and skills in three areas:
